Although this section lists some travel ideas, there would be a whole lot more to say about what you can see and do in our area. But we can’t tell you everything; we’d rather you come to discover for yourselves!

PIOMBINO
Still little-known to tourists, it has a beautiful historic centre that can be easily visited on foot. The fortified tower (Torrione), the tower gate (Rivellino)and Piazza Bovioare just some of the attractions you can admire when strolling through the streets in the historic centre. Guests who have had the opportunity to visit have confirmed that it was a PLEASANT SURPRISE!
MEDIEVAL VILLAGES
Campiglia Marittima, Suvereto e Populonia:
These medieval villages are enchanting. . After a day by the sea, it will be such a pleasure to stroll through these towns’ streets!! Moreover, during the summer season, these villages are enlivened by festivals in the town streets.

BEACHES
Gulf of Baratti, Sterpaia Nature Park, Rimigliano, Calamoresca, Spiaggialunga, and Fosso alle Canne
: these are the beaches in our area. Each has different features: fine, golden sand, black/silvery sand, and pebble beaches, meeting everyone’s demands!
THE ISLANDS
Elba: You can take a day trip to Elba; ferries departing from Piombino’s harbour take about an hour to get there. Once there, you can use public transportation or rent a scooter to explore the island on your own Take advantage of our agreement with Blu Navy!
Islands of the Archipelago: Excursions to the islands of Pianosaand Giannutri are available. During the summer, there are departures from both Piombino and San Vincenzo.
